About Chef Alex
Chef Alex has always been deeply inspired by food and cooking. Prior to becoming the famous chef at our restaurant, he carved out an impressive culinary legacy, which included positions at New York’s famed Russian Tea Room and France’s prestigious Hotel de France. A veteran of the NYC restaurant industry, Chef Alex also held positions at Glen Oaks Country Club, City Hall, La Grenouille, and Gascogne Bistro.
After circulating the New York food landscape, he opened his own establishment, Alor Café, which is grown to thrive and prosper. Chef Alex is the recipient of two gold medals from the Salon of Culinary Art of the Societe Culinaire Philanthropique, and is continuously on the hunt for a new and worthy culinary challenge. This pursuit has brought him to Encore. We are pleased to have such an acclaimed and famous chef at our restaurant and invite all to experience his inspired and innovative cuisine.
